Refund & Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling policy

• Students who provide more than 24 hours notice before their course begins may reschedule at no additional cost.

• Students who provide less than 24 hours notice before their course begins, will incur a 50% rescheduling and administration fee based on their course fees.

• If a student is unable to attend due to a legitimate reason and provides supporting evidence (e.g., a medical certificate for sudden illness), they may transfer to another course at no additional charge.

• Please note that reasons such as traffic delays, public transport issues, attending the wrong venue, running late, or new work commitments are not considered legitimate and will not waive the rescheduling fee.

Cancellation Policy

• Students who give notice to cancel their enrolment more than 10 days prior to the commencement of the course will be entitled to a full refund of fees paid.

• Students who give notice to cancel or withdraw their enrolment less than 10 days prior, but more than 24 hours prior to the commencement of a course will be entitled to a 75% refund of fees paid. The amount retained (25%) by First Aid Hub is required to cover the cost of staff and resources which will have already been committed based on the student’s initial intention to undertake the training.

• Students who cancel or withdraw their enrolment less than 24 hours or after a training program has commenced will not be entitled to a refund of fees.

Please note that a $5 booking and administration fees is applied for the processing of refunds.

If a refund is approved, payment will be made to the student within 14 days of receiving their written notice of cancellation.

Discretion may be exercised by First Aid Hub in all situations if the student can demonstrate that extenuating or significant personal circumstance led to their withdrawal. In these cases, the student will be offered a full credit toward the course fee in another scheduled program in-lieu of a refund. First Aid Hub may also authorise a refund of tuition fees if the circumstances require it.

First Aid Hub reserves the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule courses due to low enrolments or unforeseen circumstances. Should this occur a full refund and/or an opportunity to reschedule (without penalty) will be offered.
